Health Theory is an early-stage project currently in development, operated independently by its founders, based in India.
This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how it is handled. By using this site or submitting your details through our waitlist form, you agree to the terms described below.
Information you provide. When you join our waitlist, we collect the name and email address you submit through our form.
Automatically collected information. When you visit our website, certain technical information may be collected automatically through standard web server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, and general usage data. This information is collected in aggregate and is not used to identify you individually.
We collect information directly from you when you complete our waitlist form. This form submission is processed through a secure serverless function hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Technical information described above is collected automatically through our web hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare Pages).
Email validation. When you submit the form, we check whether the domain portion of your email address (the part after the @ symbol) is associated with known disposable or temporary email services. This check is performed using the DeBounce validation service. Only the domain portion of your email is sent to this service — your actual email address and name are never shared with it.

By providing your consent and submitting the waitlist form, you authorize us to collect and use your information for the purposes outlined in this policy. You may withdraw this consent at any time, as described in Section 8.
Your name and email address are stored in a private Google Sheet, accessible only to the founding team of Health Theory. This data is held within Google's infrastructure and is subject to Google's data protection standards.
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes network-level data (such as IP addresses) as part of delivering and securing our website, in accordance with Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
To prevent automated abuse of our waitlist form, we use Upstash Redis for rate limiting. This system tracks only an anonymized count of recent submissions per IP address — it does not store your name, email, or any personal information. Rate limit counters are automatically deleted after 30 minutes.
We retain your name and email address until Health Theory launches, or until you request deletion, whichever occurs first.

This service is currently intended for users based in India. Visitors accessing this site from outside India do so at their own discretion and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.
